Cookie Policy
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use them to make the site work correctly and, with your consent, to understand how it is used and to support our marketing.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of the page.
Essential
Essential cookies enable basic functions and are necessary for the proper functioning of the website. These cannot be disabled.
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
acumine_cookie_consent_v1 | Stores your cookie consent preferences so you are not prompted on every visit. | 30 days |
Statistics
Statistics cookies collect information anonymously. This information helps us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. Statistics cookies are only set if you consent. We do not use analytics cookies to identify you by name. However, analytics cookies may use online identifiers such as cookie IDs or device and browser information, which may be personal data under UK data protection law.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC that helps us understand how visitors use the site. We use GA4 (Google Analytics 4), which is configured with a 400-day cookie expiry on this site. We have accepted Google's Data Processing Terms and rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for any data transfers.
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | The main Google Analytics cookie. Used to distinguish unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier. | 400 days |
_ga_<container-id> | Used to persist session state across page requests. | 400 days |
Marketing
Marketing cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. Marketing cookies are only set if you consent.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
When you accept marketing cookies, we load the LinkedIn Insight Tag — a script provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. This script sends a tracking signal to LinkedIn's servers to help us understand traffic from LinkedIn campaigns and measure conversions. We have accepted LinkedIn's Data Processing Agreement and rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for any data transfers.
The Insight Tag itself does not set cookies on the acumine.com domain. LinkedIn may set or read cookies on their own domain (linkedin.com) as part of this process. Which cookies are present depends on your LinkedIn session status — for example, whether you are signed in to LinkedIn or have visited LinkedIn recently.
For details of the cookies LinkedIn sets on their own domain, please refer to LinkedIn's Cookie Policy. Common examples include:
| Name | Description | Duration |
|---|---|---|
lidc | Routing and session management (set on linkedin.com). | 24 hours |
li_oatml | Used for identifying LinkedIn members for advertising and analytics (set on linkedin.com). | 30 days |
li_sugr | Used to make a probabilistic match of a user's identity (set on linkedin.com). | 90 days |
liap | Used for authentication of LinkedIn members (set on linkedin.com). | 90 days |
These cookies are only present if you have an active LinkedIn session or have visited LinkedIn recently. They are controlled by LinkedIn, not by Acumine.
